Peggy Bundy, You've Inspired Me

*Note the different frame border I used!  I'm gonna get to this!

Today I was having a bit of a Peggy Bundy kind of day!

  • Denim button up - the Boyfriend's <3
  • Leopard print cami - street shopping in S. Korea (approx. $5CAD)
  • Winter leggings in Black - American Apparel
  • Black flats - American Apparel
  • Black & gold belt - Vintage (used to be my mom's...probably from when she was channeling Peggy Bundy...but for real. Haha.)
  • Red leather wallet - Vintage Jordache (used to be my mom's)
I loved wearing this outfit today.  It felt fun, but also super relaxed (this could've had something to do with the fact that I slept in those tights...hmm).  I didn't actually wear the flats outside though.  It's still a little too cold for that in Canada-land.  Boohoo.

Anyway, have ya'll been able to tell that I keep messing around with how this blog looks??  I'm starting to feel like posting my pictures with the round-edged corners is starting to look a bit messy...hmm.  For this reason, I posted the first picture with solid straight edges.  What do you think?  Let me know!

IN OTHER NEWS:
Look what finally came in the mail for me today!!

It's a cheap (but terribly cute!!) copy of the YSL Arty Ring.  The most blogged about ring of the past year.  Now, I am totally...TOTALLY against buying fakes and replicas, but I wanted the ring so so badly, and I love the shape and design so much!  These retail for about $300CAD on the YSL website, and I just can't afford that right now.  So, in short, I gave in to searching for a replica online, and my wonderful boyfriend ordered it for me =).  This ring only cost him $13AUD plus $10AUD shipping (around $25CAD).  I love it so much!  The colour is perfect, and it suits my skin tone perfectly!  I don't feel so bad because YSL doesn't actually make the ring in this colour (it's actually a more lighter pink than it seems like in this picture).  HOWEVER!  I promise -- I promise so hard that I will buy the real YSL Arty Ring as soon as I can afford to!  In a dark green mayhaps...

Check out the real YSL Arty Rings here.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Friday!

I like the straight edges, they give it a more clean, streamlined look...

  2. Your outfit is so adorable! Totally thought of Peggy when I saw the leopard print top and the belt! I like the straight edges, but the round edges were pretty cool and unique because I don't see them as often! I like it either way :]

And that ring is so freakin' cute. I was looking for a replica turquoise one because I wanted the YSL one so bad but just don't have the money right now. I might end up getting it!

    1. You should definitely get a replica to satisfy your want until you can buy the real thing! I saw a slew of good turquoise ones on eBay =).
