Blush & Studs

Last week I posted the OOTD above, but with my studded duffle bag from Little Black Bag.  I actually took two bags out on that outfit shoot, so I wanted to share the rest of the photos with the Lionel Kaley Satchel in Blush.  This pale-studded-beauty is also from Little Black Bag.  I've already raved about this bag in my March LBB Haul post, so you can check that out if you'd like.  And full outfit details can be found in my last OOTD post here.  I'm just posting these purely for your viewing pleasure (you're welcome).  Enjoy... =).

Pastel Syle: Just in time for Easter!

Happy Easter everyone!  Hope you all enjoyed a long weekend filled with family, food, and sunny Spring weather.  The sun finally broke through the snowy clouds of Toronto this past weekend, and the boyf and I were able to walk around the city jacket-free.  Let me repeat that.  JACKET-FREE!  I don't want to get over-dramatic, but it was truly liberating.  I felt like a lazy hibernating bear that just got shaved...or something.  What??  Hmm..

Needless to say, after shedding my winter layers, I carpe-freaking-diemed and jumped at the chance to wear a bunch of pastels and dress up like an Easter egg.  (And rightfully so as it snowed today. Oh, thanks Mother Nature of Canada-land...).

Anyway, some photos for your viewing pleasure...

March Madness; Craving Neautrals for Spring/Summer 2013!

Alright, so it's FINALLY happening.  The snow has begun it's melting process.  The sun has started to break out of its shell and show us some dang confidence.  Spring is coming!  As much as I loved hibernating in my dark --heavy-- clothes, I too, like the sun, am ready to break out and shed some light!  I am INCREDIBLY excited for Spring 2013!  Now, I'm no seasoned fashionista, or runway now-it-all.  All I know is, I'm ready to wear some light airy colours and fabrics.  Enjoy my style collages!  I hope they inspire you, too <3.

Spring Neutrals

Spring Neutrals by thelittledandy featuring white tops

All of the above tops are absolutely ADOOOORABLE!  I'm going to have to hunt own the likeness of each and every one!  Can't wait to pair tops like these with light denim skinnies, or faux leather-ish leggings.  I'm also hoping to get some sort of beige/khaki skinny pant (hopefully a pair that won't make me look naked on my bottom half HAHA!).

Spring Bottoms

This year I'd like to invest more time and money into hunting down the PERFECT pair of thrifted denim to turn into the PERFECT pair of high waisted shorts.  Rest assured, this will be documented on the blog =).

Spring Frocks

As boyish as I am, I can't help but feel my heart go a'flutter when I see a pretty dress.  Where would I even go in a dress?  Who cares.  Love all these!

Spring Shoes

I need to find the perfect pairs of nude pumps and nude flats.  Good pairs this time; pairs that will last me a lifetime =).

Spring 'It' Bag

Lately, I've been obsessing over LIGHT coloured bags, and clutches.  Lusting over them, actually.  I've been trading on Little Black Bag obsessively to have my fill!  I've already got the perfect pink studded clutch, and a cute pale bag on the way.  I can't wait!

I've also been feeling very inspired by Ella Fitzgerald lately.  Did she wear a lot of neutrals and pastels?  I, for some reason, feel like she did.  Anyway, I'll just leave you with this...

Who else is excited for Spring??

Thank You Everyone!

You all remember the pink pants, don't you?  How could you not--it was only 2 posts ago! Hehe.  That same day, my boyfriend took some photos for me at the park =).  I really wanted to post them because I was wearing my favourite cardigan of all time.  Really, though,...of ALL TIME!
ENJOY!

I bought this sweater during a midnight shopping adventure in Seoul, Korea.  It was amongst one of the LAST things I bought from that beautiful shopping dreamland of a country.  Literally, it was the NIGHT before my flight, and I decided I just HAD to go shopping, haha.  I call this my 'flying squirrel' or 'bat' cardigan =).
  • Grey cardigan - street shopping in S. Korea (approx. $40CAD)
Speaking of flying squirrels and things...

Hehehe, these make me laugh.

I've been having a rather low-key Sunday.  The weather outside is beautiful, and I can hear kids screaming at each other haha, but I wanted to stay in and catch up on replying to comments and updating the blog!  I think I'm gonna do a DIY tonight.  I have a pile of clothes in my room that need...renewal, hehe.

Anyway, I wanted to thank all of you!  All of my wonderful followers!  The blogging community amazes me.  Everyone is so kind and welcoming.  It really makes me smile when others appreciate the things that I love!  Ah, LOVE!  Anyway...I'm thinking about doing a giveaway in the very NEAR future.  Stay tuned!!

Bright Friday!

Today's bright ensemble, if you will...
  • Cream cami - Forever21
  • Cream cashmere tee - Club Monaco
  • Coral pink skinny pants - Aerie (only $20CAD on sale!!)
  • Navy suede espadrilles - Club Monaco (third party item, $15CAD on sale!)
  • Brown croc bag - Vintage (around $6CAD)
I was also wearing my gold Casio calculator watch, and an oversized grey cardigan later on when it was getting cooler at night.  My boyfriend took a few outdoor pictures, so I might post them tomorrow =).

I bought these pants yesterday for only $20!  Their original retail price was $49.99CAD, but they were on sale for $29.99CAD and then an additional 30% off!  A steal!  I'm not sure whether to call them jeans or just pants because they aren't made of denim, and they are rather thin.  Anywhoo, the weather was absolutely lovely today!  21degrees (celsius)!!  I remember this time last year I was still wearing my winter coat!

In other news, it's my darling boyfriend's birthday tomorrow!  And yes, his birthday is on St. Patrick's Day.  I've been busy baking up a storm =).  Am I lame for staying in on a Friday night?  ...I don't think so.  I do it all the time =P.

Ombre Nails!

Before I go on about what my nails look like right now, I wanted to show you all what they looked like before:

Last week I attempted to do stained glass nails using some pretty pastel polishes.  As you can tell, it ended up looking like a bit of a mess, which is why I never posted it!  That, and also because the photo quality and lighting is absolutely horrid.

Anyway, here are my nails now!...

I tried doing ombre nails yesterday, and I think they turned out pretty well.  They actually look more ombre in real life than they do in these pictures.  Oh, the terrible lighting in my room =P.  I used Shine Plus Nail in numbers 13 and 42 by Organic Farm International.  My mom brought these back from Korea with her a couple weeks ago.  They go on so smooth, and they are rather thin which is great for building up colour when you're trying to get an ombre effect!  I also applied loads of topcoat afterwards because I love it so much and I never want it to chip away!!

I feel like eating a cupcake...

Headband and other things.

I couldn't post my outfit from yesterday because I had a splitting headache when I got home so I just went straight to bed!  This is also the only photo I took of what I was wearing =(.
  • Heather headband - Club Monaco
  • Fisherman's Pullover in Black - American Apparel
  • Winter Leggings in Black - American Apparel
Pretty boring stuff.  All black.  Very warm.  Very cozy.  It was pretty cold yesterday!  Not to mention the snow!  However, today it has finally been getting warmer.  Tomorrow it's supposed to be 12degrees (celsius!).  Very exciting stuff :).

Today was my one year anniversary with my boyfriend =).  I didn't have much time to take photos of what I was wearing today either, but it was nothing too exciting.  I did, however, find a photo on my phone of basically the exact same outfit which I wore months ago, haha.  So here it is:

  • Dark denim twist scarf - street shopping in S. Korea (approx. $1CAD)
  • Tiger sweatshirt - street shopping in S. Korea (approx. $10CAD)
  • Dark denim skinny jeans - H&M ($25CAD)
  • Pink sneakers - thrifted at Talize ($6CAD)

I also did a little bit of bargain shopping this weekend! =)

I got these jeans on sale at Joe Fresh for only $20CAD!  I needed a new pair of light denim for the warmer seasons to come, so...YAY!! =).  The shoes in the picture are vintage, I'll be doing a post about some recent vintage finds later on.

Anyway, thank you for leaving such wonderful comments everyone!  And hello to all of my lovely new followers!

OOTD: yay or nay?

First of all.  You girls are WONDERFUL!  I've only moved this blog over to blogger in the last week, and you have all been leaving wonderful comments already!  If you are a new visitor, please enjoy your stay, leave comments, and follow me!  I try my best to respond to everyone, and I visit and add everyone back =).
Anywhoo, I am very thankful for the feedback from all of you about this little dress.  I still can't commit to cutting it short yet, so I decided to tuck it in and wear it as a sweater today.  What do you all think?  Yay or nay?  I think it's an adorable look, and I enjoyed smiling about in it all day haha.  Before I cut it, I'm gonna wear it out with some black pantyhose and a belt like Rachel suggested (visit her blog!  http://coldknees.blogspot.com/) and see which look I like better.  Who knows.  Maybe I'll keep it long and just tuck it in once in a while.  Hmmmm.

Future DIY?

My mom recently returned from a prolonged trip to Korea to visit her parents.  Upon her return she brought with her a whole batch o' goodies for me.  Amongst those goodies was this.  This adorable lady-like dress.  Now, my mom is usually TERRIBLE...absolutely TERRIBLE at buying things for me.  Anytime she ever buys me something (whether its clothes, bags, or even books) it usually ends up in the corner or very back of somewhere and just collects dust over time.  So good job, mum, in finally getting me something that I am not totally turned off of.

Now, while I think that this little pink frock is absolutely adorbs to DEATH, it's not totally my style.  I'm into pink--yes.  I'm into cute details--yes.  I'm into collars and cuffs--yes.  I'm into dress--absolutely.  But this for some reason is not really me.  I love my girly side, but I also have quite the tom-boyish/edgy side to me as well.  For that reason, I've been thinking about cutting this dress into a cropped sweater of sorts.  I know...I'm evil.  I am the evilest evil-do-er of them all for even THINKING about cutting this innocent pink dress.

Bah...I just can't get myself to do it.  Look how cute she is!

HELP!!
